The Venues

Piazza San Cosimato Parco della Cervelletta Monte Ciocci

Piazza San Cosimato is located in the heart of Trastevere

  • Use the bike paths along the Lungotevere and exit near Porta Portese bridge — we're just three minutes from there!
  • The square is served by several bus lines: 44, 8, H, 3, 75, 115, N3.
  • The nearest metro stop is Piramide (line B).
  • Trastevere train station is a 20-minute walk or a bit less by bus or tram (8, 3, H).
  • If you can't or don't want to use public transport, vehicles can be parked using the city's various sharing services on the streets near the square.

The Casale della Cervelletta Park is located between the districts of Colli Aniene, Tor Cervara, and Tor Sapienza, within the Aniene Valley Nature Reserve.

  • Take the cycle path along Via Prenestina, turn onto Via Palmiro Togliatti, and after passing the A24, follow the road alongside it until the Colli Aniene entrance to the Casale della Cervelletta Park.
  • There are several public transport options depending on your starting point:
    • From TIBURTINA STATION take the FL2 train towards Tivoli and get off at TOR SAPIENZA. From the station, go to Via di Tor Cervara (50m away), turn left, and walk straight for 600m until you reach Piazza della Cervelletta.
    • From REBIBBIA METRO take bus 437 or 447. The nearest stop to the Casale is Tor Cervara/Cervelletta, but the more convenient stop is the next one, TOR CERVARA/COSTI, in front of the New York bar. From there, walk back 500m along Via di Tor Cervara (on a comfortable pavement) to Piazza della Cervelletta.
    • From PONTE MAMMOLO METRO take bus 75 and get off at COLLATINA/DE CUPIS. From there, continue for 700m along Via di Tor Cervara to Piazza della Cervelletta. From the square, you'll see the sign for "Via della Cervelletta" (a dirt road) and "Riserva Naturale dell'Aniene."
  • From Colli Aniene, there is a short green walkway that leads directly to the Casale della Cervelletta.

Monte Ciocci Park, within the Monte Mario Nature Reserve, is located between Balduina and Valle Aurelia.

  • Use the pedestrian and cycle path that runs through the entire park, from Monte Mario or Via Anastasio II, and passes right by the viewpoint.
  • The park is served by several bus lines: 247, 31, 33.
  • The closest metro stops are Cipro and Valle Aurelia (line A).
  • Valle Aurelia train station is a 10-minute walk away.
  • If you can't or don't want to use public transport, vehicles can be parked using the city's various sharing services on the streets near the park.
